Got 2B Root Boosting Spray...Review

And thickening non-aerosol hairspray Review!  I gotta tell ya, I just love BOTH of these!  I have super thin and super fine hair.  I was looking for a new hairspray and noticed this at my local Walgreens.  The hairspray is a travel size.  I wanted a hairspray that would let my hair flow but still retain it's shape.  This does that.  No more mommy dos (ponytails) for me now that I have found this.

The root-boosting spray is also just as awesome.  I can't even feel them in my hair.  Yet I can see the difference from when I don't use them and then when I do.  I can't wait to try more of their products for fine/thin hair!  The two together I paid $4.99 for and also got back a $2.00 register reward to use on my next Walgreens purchase.

If you have fine, thin, dry, fly away hair...I highly recommend these products.

For a little bonus today...a few days ago I posted my Nana's Banana Pudding recipe on my recipe blog...

I hope you all are had a fabulous day.

Furbabies...

Hey Guys!
Do you have any fur babies?  I just realized that I haven't even shown a pic of my fur baby; Sarah.
A little over a year and a half ago, we lost (he passed away) our solid black cat Baloo.  Baloo comforted our son that has ADHD.  He really wanted another cat....and so did we....
We just wanted to pick the right cat.  So 2 days before Christmas 2009, My husband went to our local shelter...He couldn't decide between a 3 year old cat and a 10/12 week old kitten.  So he called me and I looked them up on petfinder.
I didn't save the picture of the gray 3 year old cat.  But his name was Columbo!
Here is the picture that was listed on petfinder for the kitten...
I was just in awwww at this picture of all these little kittens but only two were left.  A brother and a sister.  The one on the far left and the one immediately beside her.  The one on the far left is the one we chose.  We wish we would have got her brother now.  While my husband was paying the adoption fee for her...another couple came in and had her in the viewing room.  When the guy that was helping my husband went to get her...the couple let out a 'awwww'.  They wanted her.

We got her just in the nick of time.....and we are so in love with her.  She is a big part of our family now.  We are almost sure that her brother was adopted out that same day.

Here are some of my favorite pictures of the little girl.
She was just a few months old in this picture.  She loved watching our fish Roxie (who has since died).
To Long for her cat bed.  She got a new one for Christmas and she absolutely loves it.
This is one of my favorite pictures of her.  I just happened to be quick enough to get it.
I was taking pictures of some of the things I craft and she had to get in on the action.  Such a love!
This was her favorite spot to sit.  However, she ruined my laptop by spilling water on it.  That I had left by the computer!  Shame on me....not her.
Pretty Girl!
She is a Maine Coon Cat!  She is as soft as silk.  She loves playing fetch and loves playing with her toys.  She loves to greet everyone good morning and she loves 'tucking' every kid in bed at night.  All of us have got to be in our places at night for her to rest....and play and wake me up during the night because she wants me to play with her pink boa with her....ugggh!
She now weighs about 12 pounds.  She goes to see the vet next month for her shots.  We are hoping and praying we have her for a very long long time.  She is just a joy to us.

I hope you all have had a wonderful Saturday....

~*Shopping~*Shopping~*Shopping*~Day 2

Here is another Shopping trip summary!
My shopping trip to Wal-Mart.
I love exercising...and trying out new Exercising dvd's.  I have been using two of Leslie Sansone's Dvd's and wanted to pick up a few more.  I picked up just one (they didn't have the other's that I wanted).  And I picked up some one pound walking weights.
I can't wait to try out the weights and the Dvd.  I will start the Walk Weight Loss Bootcamp on Monday. Using the Bootcamp 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, and Fri.).  And doing another one of her dvd's using the weights on Tuesday and Thursday.  I will ride my bike on the weekends.  I think it is good to change up exercise routines.  It shocks the body and gives it a push.
Like I said, I bought My Walk Weight Loss Boot Camp at Wal-mart for $14.00.  You can get it off of Amazon.  It is 18.49 at amazon.
The weights are only a pound each.  They are walking weights.  I paid $6.77 for them.  Next month, I am going to pick up the two pound weights.

On over to their clearance section they had a few Christmas items left.  I picked up 3 of these beaded Garland.  I paid $.75 each for them.    I saved $6.75.  My husband didn't like them.  So I don't know if I will get to use them next year or not (we have 2 Christmas Trees).  If not, I will give them or donate them to someone that can use them.
There ya go...the end of my shopping trip.  I hope you all are having a fabulous day.

~*Shopping~*Shopping~*Shopping*~Day 1

Hey Guys!
Last night before the snow hit my area, my daughter and I did some shopping.  And my husband and I went back out again today.
Thought I would show you what I got. Some where pretty good deals.
First Stop:  One of my favorite places to shop....Kohl's.
I wanted to pick up a couple of things.  The Sunglasses and the Christmas Bear Gift Set.  And that is what I did.
Relic Sunglasses!  I just love these and the picture really doesn't do them justice.  A couple of nights ago, I went onto Kohl's Website..They have NONE of their Relic Sunglasses advertised online.  Mine are called Walpole 1 in Silver.  Original price was $26.00.  I paid $19.50. I saved $6.50.  Not the best savings...I will take it.

Also picked up the Christmas Gift Bear Set!  I picked up two this time...and when I got home I wished I had got one more for my Grandma Dixie!  Originally these were $12.00 each.  I got them for $2.50 each.  Paying only $5 for both. Saving $19.00.

I also picked up some cute Simply Vera Vera Bradley Flip Flops!  I really like her line of clothing at Kohl's.  Best thing is that I can actually fit into them.
I paid $4.40 for them.  Saving $17.60!  They are really cute on.

Next was Dollar Tree!  I love going into Dollar Tree.  You just never know what they are going to have.  I bought some of the cutest wrapping paper for Christmas there a few weeks ago. Of Course, Everything in the Dollar tree is a buck.

I bought a basket for my closet to put things in.  A spiral cupcake Note Book and The Bra Clips-I have been wanting to try those out for a long time.  I thought for a buck....Why not!

Onto Target!  I have been looking for a smaller wallet for a while and just haven't found anything that I liked.   That is until I looked at this wallet.
It is so neat how it opens up.
I paid $7.99 for it.  It is compact which is what I wanted.  While there I also found a little purse that I absolutely love.  It was on sale for $7.95, last one. I snatched it up.
I know it is a Gold color.  But I like it.  I also know that it is small.  When I go out without my kids I like to carry a smaller handbag.  A bigger one when I have the kids with me.

That concludes Day one of my shopping Haul.  I will post what I got today-Tomorrow.

I hope everyone has had a fabulous day.  Tomorrow is another snow day for my kids.

Oatmeal Cookie Bath

Oatmeal Cookie Bath

Ingredients
1 cup cornstarch
2 cups powdered milk
1/2 cup oatmeal (not instant)
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
Mix all ingredients in blender or food processor until it is a fine powder. Just add 2 tablespoons of the mixture to your bathwater for a soothing bath.

You can give this as a gift by placing it in a mason jar and jazzing it up a bit with Ribbon.  It would make a great teachers gift.

Ten Things I Can't Live Without....

Hey Guys!
I thought I would share with you 10 things I can't live without.  Now My family, kids, husband, cat, God....etc. Those are all a given...These are the things I can't live without!

1. Nail Polish!  I have a strange love for nail polish!
2.  My Scale.  I weigh my self daily.  Every morning at roughly the same time.  I used to weigh once a week. Now it is daily to help me keep on top of my weight loss.  My weigh in days where I actually record a loss or gain is Thursdays.
3.  Facebook!  It is how I keep up with all my family and friends.  They all live in another state than I do.  So it is neat to see what is going on in the lives of my friends and family on a somewhat daily basis.
4.  Lip Gloss/Lip Stick-  I just don't know why I have this need to get every lip stick and lip gloss known to man.  But I do.

5. Bracelets!  I absolutely Love Bracelets! I don't have many....yet!  But the few I do have I absolutely love.  And somewhere in my house my favorite snake bracelet lurks until I can find it again....~sigh~
6.  Television!  I absolutely love to watch The Golden Girls, Dancing with The Stars, Castle, Blue Bloods....etc.
7.  Music!  I simply can not live with out my Music.  I like just about any kind of Music.  Music to me soothes the soul!
8. Exercise!  I love to Exercise.  Yes, some day's I have to force myself to work out.  But that is just myself being Lazy.  Once I get up and actually DO it!  I Love it and have a hard to stopping!
9. My Microwave!  I would be so lost without it.  My kids would also be so lost without it.
10. Water!  8 Months Ago I would have said, "Cherry-Dr. Pepper" From Sonic.  But since I have cut all that out and rarely drink soda.  I wouldn't know what to do without my water.  I even make strawberry water with real strawberries so I can have a twist on Water that is healthy.
Whew!  That took longer than I anticipated!
Hope you all are staying warm. Have a wonderful day.

*~*~*~Sweet Deals~*~*~*

Hey Guys!
I absolutely love finding good deals.  I do use coupons but have become slack in using them because I have all my focus on my weight loss.  I am going to try to pick up more in using my coupons.
Yesterday, when my daughter and I went out shopping.  I did purchase two things.  I was good believe me.  I could have walked out of Kohl's with a whole lot of junk stuff.
We were browsing around there handbags, scarfs, jewelry, and seasonal items when we came across a pair of flip flops.  I picked them up and they were my size!  They were the only pair left.  Before I started loosing weight.  My foot was a size 11.  Now it is a 9 and a half.  I just HAD to get them.
Please ignore my toe nails!  I need to redo them.
The best thing is that I got them 90% off!  I only paid $1.80 for them.
Then I looked through what was left of their Christmas items.  And it was not much.  However, they did have quite a few of these little guys left.
I only picked up one.  I am going to go back sometime this next week and pick up a few more if they still have them.  I am going to use them as teacher gifts next year for my little boy's teachers.
I only paid $2.50 for it. The other's that they had left was a panda bear, and one that was in a small gift bag.  They all were $2.50.  They had more of the panda bears left than anything.
Total Saved: $26.20!!!

I can't wait to go back.  They had a pair of Relic Sunglasses that I almost picked up and now I am wishing I would have.  I am going to see if they still have them when I go back...if they do....I am going to get them!

I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Then and Now~Weight Loss Journey Pictures

Hey All,
Today, my daughter and I did a little shopping.  We didn't buy much but we did try on some clothes.   I wanted to try on clothes just to see what size I was...etc.
Before I show you my *Now* pictures I thought I would show you my Then picture.

I was 270 pounds (not my heaviest weight either).  I wore a size 24 in Jeans.  And a 4XL/5XL in shirts.  I look just miserable...and I probably was!

Today, while we were at Kohl's.  I thought I would just try a size 14 in jeans because my size 16 jeans are really starting to get loose on me.  I was SHOCKED that they fit!!!!!!
Now I wear a L/XL shirt and a size 14 jean! It is amazing what 7 and a half months of loosing 93 pounds can do!
I do still have 39 pounds to go.  If I can loose 93 pounds in 7.5 months.  Hopefully, I can loose the 39 pounds by the end of the year.
I want to wear a dress to my son's 8th grade promotion ceremony in May.  So I thought I would try on a dress...and I actually fit comfortably into a size large!  I so badly wanted to get it but I hope to drop a few more pounds before the end of May.

My daughter and I had a excellent time out today.  We went to Kohl's, J.C. Penney's and Old Navy.  Kohl's had lots of things I was interested in and may go back sometime this week to pick a few things up.  J.C. Penney's had some good deals on Sweaters.  So I might go and pick myself up a couple of Sweaters.

As I loose the weight, I am slowly becoming addicting to shopping....hmmm, this could cause a problem.  :)

Have a wonderful Evening!

Weight Loss Tips....

Hey Guys!
I am going to post a few weight loss tips that have worked for me.  Now everyone is different, so what works for me might not work for you.  Example:  I tried Weight Watchers several years ago!  It done absolutely nothing for me!  I know it has worked for tons of people. Just didn't work for me.
Some of these tips are really common sense type stuff.
  Here we go...

1. You have to have the right frame of mind.  You have got to want it 110% and be fully committed to it 210%.
2. You have to have some kind of support.  Or at least it helps GREATLY!  A spouse, children, family, friends, just anyone that you are close to that will help keep you in check.
3. Create an atmosphere that will allow you success in your weight loss journey. Examples of this are: Surrounding yourself with people who support you.  Get rid of the Junk food, soda, chips….etc.
4. Plan out your meals and snacks.
5. Track those meals and snacks or journal what you eat.  I keep track of my food intake at Sparkpeople.com.  I also know of Loseit.com. If you become a member of spark people my user id is fit-fat!
6. Water, Water, Water!  I do believe getting in enough water throughout the day is one of the  most important tasks in loosing weight.  Shoot for drinking 8-8ounce glasses of water.  I try to drink 13-8 ounce glasses a day.
7. Drink a 8 ounce glass of water 30 minutes before eating a meal.  Two would be better.  But one does it’s job too.  Water fills you up and makes you fill fuller faster!  Bonus-Water has no calories!
8. Do NOT skip breakfast!  Try to eat at least 30 minutes after waking up. At the latest one hour.
9. Don’t deprive yourself-Let yourself enjoy an occasional treat. And also get plenty of variety in your meals; it helps to curb cravings.
10.  Sleep, sleep, sleep.  Getting adequate sleep is beneficial for weight loss.
11. Get up and MOVE!!!!!  You don’t have to have any exercise equipment to lose weight.  Walk! Do jumping jacks, jump rope!  Do anything just move!
12. Spend some time reading food labels!  The more you know about the food you eat.  The better health you will have.
13. Set mini-Goals.  If you have a lot of weight to lose.  Setting mini-goals will keep you focused and motivated.  This is a must if you have a lot of weight to shed!  I set 10, 15 and 20 pound mini-goals for my-self.
14. Set your overall goal!  My overall goal is to lose 132 pounds!
15.  Reward!!!  Reward yourself when you hit those mini-goals and that overall goal.    And try to keep food out of the “rewards”.  My rewards have been work out dvd’s, make up, nail polish, a new handbag.  I do set a spending limit of $20 on my rewards.
And finally, we all lose our way when trying to lose weight.  We all have bad eating days and might gain some weight back.  Take a deep breathe and don’t dwell on it.  Just eat right for the next meal or day; whichever the case may be.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good Evening!

I am so excited about where my life is taking me.  I am not new to blogging.

I just needed a new start on a new blog....

A little about me.  My Name is Suprina.  I am the proud mother of 4 wonderful kids.  I have been married *almost* 17 years!  I live in Middle TN and absolutely love it.

I love doing crafts, cooking and baking (probably why I have had to loose some weight), decorating and shopping!

A big reason I wanted a new blog was because I have lost 93 pounds so far....and still loosing.  So new me, new blog.....New Everything.

If you are wondering how I came up with the blog name of OH Mayonnaise, I will tell you.  First, I absolutely love Miracle Whip...it is one of my downfalls that I have cut completely out!  However, my 10 year old son has started saying, "Oh Mayonnaise!" when something doesn't go just right.  That is how I came up with it.

What you can expect to find on my blog is everyday life things, recipes, weight loss tip, blogs about my weight loss, just a little bit of everything.

Hope you all have a wonderful day....
Take Care!
